About Us
Sunbury and Hume Districts Cycling Club was incorporated on 19 March 1991 by Trevor Chivell. John Wilkins was the instigator, to provide an opportunity for his son Brett to ride closer to home.
In 2010 the club officially change its name from Sunbury and Hume Districts to Sunbury Cycling Club.
2011 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Sunbury Cycling Club. It also saw the introduction of our first club emblem.
Kit History
In the club's 20 year history we have undergone three kit redesigns. In 2009 the committee, with a plan to modernise the club, started with a full kit redesign. The predominate colour was now blue with green taking a lesser stance. It was important that the clubs signature colours, green, white, and blue were still represented in the new design.

New Sponsorship in 2011.
In 2011, the successful hard work of the committee and engaged members secured an exciting new association with our new sponsors, Workbench and Bicycle Super Store in Sunbury. Along with our foundation and ongoing sponsors, BikeCoach and VIP Packaging, the committee set about the task of designing a new kit. It was agreed at the first meeting regarding possible design, that it was critical to retain the very special Sunbury club "brand" and colors. It is widely agreed that Sunbury has one of the best kits on the road and we didn't want to loose our distinctive look, but we still wanted to proudly show off our sponsors as well. Late one night, Steffo went down to the newsagent and started to flesh out some designs on paper, forget the computer generated stuff, what he produced was gold and before long with some valuable input from other committee members, 2 final designs were presented to club members at the AGM. In true democratic fashion, a members vote decided our new kit. In fact, both designs presented were so popular, no one was really phased when 1 got up over the other. In fact, Steffo voted on the other kit!! As you can see, we are pretty pleased with the final result!
